The OVRSEA Philosophy

Core Values

Since 2017, Antoine, Arthur, Brieuc, Georges and Mathieu have sought to create a workspace where everyone can learn, contribute, and develop professionally and personally.

All the values of OVRSEA - kindness, excellence, reliability, and curiosity - come from a fundamental value that guides our day to day operations at OVRSEA: a teaching (and learning) mindset.

Learn Continuously

Because curiosity is a core trait of all new - and existing - OVRSEA employees, we encourage every individual to evolve with the company according to their desires, abilities, and personal goals.

Everyone can increase their skills and be continuously learning thanks to:

  • Internal training courses and projects involving multiple teams
  • External presentations about the logistics sector
  • Time to share interests and experiences

A fair, fast, and transparent recruitment process

Our recruitment process allows each candidate to discuss their skills, values, and aspirations while benefiting from continuous feedback.

You don’t need to be a transport expert to join our team. You just need to be curious, have a desire to learn, and share the OVRSEA values.

Customized Onboarding

Onboarding

The OVRSEA onboarding process aims to ensure each new recruit becomes familiar with our mission, team, global strategy, and the challenges other OVRSEA teams are solving.

During the first 3 weeks the objectives for all new hires are to:

  • Meet with and learn about each of the teams
  • Attend daily training workshops
  • Review position-specific documentation

Learning

Our onboarding program reflects our learning-centered culture. It involves many internal teams and is meticulously prepared before the arrival of a new team member.

We believe that employee engagement starts from the very beginning of an employee’s journey with us. Our employees trust OVRSEA with their career trajectories because they’re continuously learning alongside talented and kind colleagues.
