At OVRSEA, the protection of your personal data is a priority.
When you use the https://www.ovrsea.com/ website (the « Website ») and/or the http://app.ovrsea.com/ platform (the « Platform ») and as part of the management of our contractual relations with our Customers, we collect personal data about you.
The Privacy Policy aims to inform you about how we process this data in compliance with the European regulations on the protection of personal data (the "GDPR").
All capitalized terms not defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning given to them in the General Terms and Conditions.

- Connection and usage data (connection logs, encrypted passwords; IP address, pages viewed, date and time of connection, browser used, operating system).
3. On what legal grounds, for what purposes and for how long do we store your personal data?
We store your personal data for a limited period of time necessary for the purpose of processing.

However, if necessary, we may need to transfer your personal data to service providers operating outside the European Union. In this case, your data is transferred securely as follows:
- either data is transferred to a country deemed to offer an adequate level of protection according to a decision by the European Commission;
- or we have entered into a specific contract governing transfers of your data outside the European Union, on the basis of the standard contractual clause between a controller and a processor approved by the European Commission;

10. OVRSEA applications and integrations
Some of our services are made available through third-party platforms, for example an OVRSEA agent inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. When you use one of them, you sign in with your usual OVRSEA credentials, and the integration reads only data already held in your OVRSEA account (your shipments, transport documents, invoices and quotations), restricted to your own organisation. No new category of personal data is collected. The questions you ask and the answers returned pass through the platform you are using, and are covered by that platform's own privacy terms in addition to this policy.
11. How do we secure your data?
We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Exchanges with the Platform and its integrations take place over encrypted connections. Your data is hosted within the European Union, with a provider bound by its own security obligations (Amazon Web Services). Access to the Platform requires an individual account, passwords are stored in encrypted form and are never readable, and each customer organisation can only access the data belonging to it, a restriction enforced on our servers rather than at interface level only. Internally, access to data is limited to the staff who need it to operate the service. These measures are reviewed as the Platform evolves.
