Freight forwarding from India to Europe

Organise your India-Europe exports with OVRSEA. Our teams across India provide local operations, buyer’s consolidation and in-house customs. Share your suppliers, cargo and delivery requirements so we can help you plan the shipment.

OVRSEA

Start with the shipment you need to deliver: where the goods are packed in India, who is buying them, where they must arrive in Europe and when they are genuinely ready for collection. These details allow the proposed transport and customs responsibilities to be defined.

Our teams in Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Cochin provide local operations, buyer’s consolidation and in-house customs. When your goods need storage, we work with partners offering FTWZ and bonded warehousing.

Build the service around your shipment

Discuss air and ocean freight options against the actual origin, destination, packed dimensions, weight and buyer's deadline. The proposal should set out the collection, main transport and destination services it includes, along with the capacity and operating assumptions that require confirmation.

For several suppliers, agree a receiving plan and a latest acceptable ready date for each lot. Decide who can authorise a partial shipment when one order is late. A consolidation plan should preserve the necessary exporter, invoice and customs references for each movement.

Where storage is needed, identify the work the goods require and their customs status. The operator and regime matter: ordinary receiving, an FTWZ unit and Customs Act bonded warehousing are different arrangements.

Plan the work with our team

Together, we clarify:

  • The contracting entity, exporter, importer and operational contacts.
  • Who collects the goods, handles the customs declarations and coordinates destination delivery.
  • The facilities and partner operators involved, where applicable.
  • Included charges, exclusions, quotation validity and assumptions.
  • Document, cargo receiving and carrier cut-offs for the agreed movement.
  • The process for approving changes to cargo, dates or costs.

We prepare the transport proposal around your cargo and route, including handling needs, the customs work and any partner facilities involved. Tell us which parts your buyer or supplier already arranges so we can coordinate the remaining work.

Prepare your enquiry

Send the pickup and delivery addresses, product description, proposed tariff code, value/currency, packed package count, dimensions and gross weight. Add the cargo ready date, required delivery date, agreed Incoterm and named place, plus any hazardous, temperature-sensitive or unusual cargo characteristics.

State whether one or several exporting entities are involved and whether an importer is already appointed. For an EU destination, product and import requirements need to be checked with that importer. Other European destinations follow their own rules; an Indian export file does not replace the destination customs process.

Discuss your India-Europe shipment.

FAQ

Can I discuss collections from more than one Indian supplier?

Yes. We offer buyer’s consolidation in India. Share each supplier’s pickup address, packed cargo details and ready date so we can assess how to bring the lots together and prepare their onward transport.

Does a quote cover every cost at the European destination?

Check the written scope. Identify the destination country and delivery address, agreed delivery term, importer and party paying each charge. Ask for included services, exclusions and assumptions, including customs work, duties, taxes and possible storage.

How does OVRSEA arrange FTWZ or bonded warehousing?

We work with partner warehouses in India. Tell us the goods’ customs status, planned handling, holding period and destination. We’ll assess the arrangement with the operator and identify the site and services in the proposal.
